Our Story
In the heart of a quiet Bhutanese village, where chili smoke danced through the air and every meal told a story, the idea of Shakam Ezay was born. It began in a small kitchen, where a fiery blend of sun-dried beef, dried chili, garlic, and local spices was lovingly prepared — not just as food, but as a piece of tradition passed down through generations.
Friends and neighbors couldn’t get enough. The rich, smoky flavor and bold heat reminded them of home, of family, of celebration. Word spread, and soon, that humble kitchen creation turned into a passion project — a way to share the magic of Bhutanese flavors beyond the mountains.
Today, Shakam Ezay continues that journey keeping the spirit of home alive, one spicy bite at a time.
